Three incident reports describe a gray van. Two list the same plate. The third gives only the last three characters. Compare the two layouts below as you check what the third witness actually saw.
Within one system, open the incident in one window and the vehicle record in another. Return to the incident to check the witness’s exact wording.

Keep the incident open while you inspect the vehicle and related reports beside it. Compare the full plates and the partial plate while the witness accounts are in view.

Narrow the records while the case stays open
Start with the incidents in an East District property crime review. In the filter sidebar, set Vehicle make to “FakeCar” and Time of day to between midnight and 4 a.m. Eight incidents narrow to three. Two witnesses describe the same silver FakeCar Model 1, which gives you a specific vehicle to pursue. The third mentions a silver FakeCar without a model, which gives you a reason to re-interview the witness or review nearby camera footage.

Chat-based AI vs. workflow-embedded AI
A chat-based AI assistant added to a traditional case management system responds to requests as you work. For a weekly bulletin, you select the reports, ask the assistant to compare them, and bring the draft into your case workflow.
The Hubstream AI Assistant is built into the investigative workflow. Give it the bulletin criteria and schedule once. Each week, it searches the records you can access, compares the findings, and prepares a draft with links to the originals for your review.
Prepare a weekly investigative bulletin
See how the Hubstream AI Assistant prepares the bulletin, and where the investigator decides.
Set the assignment
The investigator gives one instruction.
“Every Friday, check this week’s burglary reports and tips. Find addresses linked to more than one incident and draft a bulletin entry for each.”
Let AI prepare the draft
Hubstream AI Assistant searches and compares the records. It groups incidents by address, separates shared details from details reported only once, and drafts each entry with links to the original records.
Review and approve
The investigator decides what goes out. Open the linked reports, verify the details, and edit or approve the entry. Hold it for follow-up if needed.
Two burglaries at the same warehouse
Two burglary reports this week list the same warehouse address. Only Tuesday’s report mentions a witness seeing a white van near the loading dock. Whether the two burglaries are connected remains unconfirmed.
