Hubstream + Versaterm

26 MAY 2026 2 MINUTE READ

The Hubstream + Versaterm integration pulls CAD and RMS records from Versaterm into Hubstream’s investigative data model. Investigators get a structured, searchable view of incident data — organized by entity, linked by relationship, and available alongside other case intelligence in a single workspace.

What Data Comes In

The integration ingests:

  • CAD events — dispatch records, call types, responding units, timestamps, and locations
  • RMS records — incident reports, offense data, narrative text, and associated persons and vehicles
  • Digital evidence references — media assets and file attachments logged against incidents in Versaterm

Data is mapped to Hubstream’s investigative entity model on import. Each record becomes structured data investigators can query, link, and analyze — not a static document to read through.

Entity Mapping

When Versaterm records enter Hubstream, the integration maps them to the core entity types in Hubstream’s investigative data model:

  • Persons — names, identifiers, and roles (suspect, witness, victim, officer)
  • Vehicles — plates, make, model, VIN, and associated incidents
  • Locations — addresses, coordinates, and incident history
  • Incidents — event type, date, involved entities, and linked records
  • Contact identifiers — phone numbers and other identifiers extracted from structured fields and report narratives

Entity resolution deduplicates records across imports — so the same person appearing across multiple CAD events or RMS reports is recognized as one entity, not created as separate records.

Once Versaterm data is in Hubstream, investigators can use the platform’s link analysis canvas to explore relationships between entities across incidents.

Connections that are invisible in a flat records view — a vehicle appearing at multiple incident locations, a person linked to several call types across different dates — become visible as graph relationships investigators can navigate directly.

Reporting and Analytics

Hubstream’s reporting layer runs on imported Versaterm data alongside any other data in the case. Investigators and analysts can:

  • Filter and segment incidents by entity, location, date range, or offense type
  • Identify patterns across CAD and RMS records
  • Export case files and entity reports for review or submission

Compliance

The integration is built to operate within CJIS security policy requirements. Data remains within the agency’s secure perimeter. Access is controlled by role-based permissions, and all activity is logged in Hubstream’s audit trail.
